Pictures will be posted later today a friend is stopping by after 4:00 today to take the pictures since I am injecting co2 the Ph is low already; I don't want to stress the female/male? so I will find the way to circulate the water from the tank to the satellite tank and back to the main tank as slowly as it is possible the moss will be in the bottom and floating plants at the top.
I was told they are spit out rather big so I can go ahead and feed BBS immediately I am sure infusoria is present in my system since it was installed a while ago.
Wish me luck and I will keep you all posted!

Hi Louis, I had a chocolate gourmai that came in holding years ago and had fry and I used to breed the mouthbreeding Betta strohi. If they bred then the water is fine and I would leave it alone. If you have power filters going they need to go after a week or so. The more low level plant cover the better for the fry. They are definitely big enough for live baby brine shrimp. Check <brineshrimpdirect.com> for good shrimp eggs. It will need to be live baby brine. I wouldn't move the brooding fish unless you can catch it without stress and then put inside in a jar under water before lifting it out so its body never breaks the water surface. I would wait on this until you are sure the fry have hatched in the throat. I think that is 2 weeks but I could be wrong. This way if the fish spits them out you can save them. Some might survive in your tank as is but that's a risk. You'd need to cover the bottom with a thick blanket of java moss and go without power filters -- just sponges or airstones. Keep them warm -- at least 80. Moving the other fish is an option but that could cause too much stress. If you try to move her use two nets to catch her and have the jar already filled sitting under water. Good luck.
