Fancy goldfish/Oranda in Large Aquarium

Does anyone here keep fancy goldfish in a large Aquarium?  How big is your tank?

Not large-45 gallon Hex. works for my 6 large fancytails and a couple of small koi growing for the pond. Over filter is the main thing.

I kept Orandas in a 30g long before.....I think they need like 10g per goldfish .....but then again they would have to be small-medium size.

I have kept both in a 55. You need a lot of room per fish. Honestly, and embarrassingly, my luck with orandas is not good. Fancy goldfish I can keep but the Orandas never work out.

I kept an oranda, pearlscale, telescope and Ryunkin in a 40g, but they were small.  The rule of thumb is 20g per goldfish once they grow up.  They can get pretty large.

And you really need lots of filtration....these are some of the dirtiest fish I have ever come across when they get large.

I would keep up with water changes as that is what will help the water quality....too much filtration makes it hard for them to swim possibly stressing them out.

I think they look awesome, but somehow always died when I keep them.

I need someone w/ a tank that's over 100g.  

I have a red cap oranda that's almost 10" long and it's HUGE.  You'll need a large tank dedicated to fancy goldfish w/ good filtration since these do produce alot of waste.

If you do have a large tank over 100g and would like it lmk, I'll donate it for free.

Can I have him?  I have a 150 gallon with eheim 2260 on it.  I dont know if it get along with the other fish though.  I have like 8 rainbowfish and some neon tetras and corys.

Here it is.  It's in a 5 gallons bucket just for reference.
