Is there a way I can make the white in my CRS brighter? Some of them seem a little opaque where the white is.

I thought opaque was what you need in a show quality shrimp? Do you mean translucent?Originally posted by ph33nyx View PostIs there a way I can make the white in my CRS brighter? Some of them seem a little opaque where the white is.

This. Also the tap water in Houston has high TDS. That could also be causing their shells to turn translucent. A lot of people use RO water with Bee Shrimp GH+ (I think that's what it's called?). Jake's veggie sticks with calcium would work well for them. There's also other specific Bee shrimp foods that are especially for making their shell more opaque or making the red pop more, etc. Check out Benibachi foods, etc. There's a long list of foods that you could try. H4N from TPT forum has tons of name brand foods available and he even sells little packs as samples.Originally posted by SunnyHouTX View PostMight just be a natural variation in color that needs to be culled out
