these are new to azgardens.com. interestingly they live in paludariums and can reproduce entirely in freshwater...the eggs skip a larval stage and hatch into miniature crabs which look like the adults. Their claws cant open too wide and they are fairly small so they might something that you would have to worry about predation from.

Also, most of the inverts seem to be on sale there right now, check out the cool Black Forest Shrimp (C.krumslacis) and Sulawasi "Starry Night" (aka white orchid).

that 41 is their flat rate, you can also choose actual and they will bill you cost but you wont know how much that is until you see the CC charge so thats kinda a pain. Bob's Tropical Plants quoted me 37 bucks to ship 20 amano shrimp overnight, so that may be about right.

i have a 10 gallon with black blasting sand and its just sitting there....hmmmm


btw i just called fishland and they got some amano shrimps!!!

i dont know if they would attack shrimp or not, they seem to only be semi aquatic and spend alot of time on land so maybe best in a paludarium or riparium.

cool, i emailed fishland at lunch so i will see what they get back to me with. what price did they tell you and did they mention a size? I am getting seven adults from HAW and will likely add more in next week after I see how these react

yeah i am getting the last 7 from HAW and looking for others. since my CO2 and canister filter went down i am getting crazy algae

new eheim 2075 should be delivered today (petcarerx.com took a week to ship my next day air order) and i have nerites, otocinclus, ancistrus, SAES in the tank with some amano shrimp going in today and extra powerheads diffusing air and providing current. the light stays off today so i think it will be back in order shortly. it is heavily stocked so i think i will repair my old eheim or magum 350 to run along with it and prevent this from happening again.

yeh id run 2 filters if i could just to be on the safe side. and when you clean them you can alternate it as well..

fishland has like at 5 more amanos....just fyi!
