I've always used breather bags like so... fill and tie where there's no air in the bag and so that the bag can't fold over and possible constrict the shippee... I should have taken a pic. The CPOs had half water and half air and sitting on the counter the bag rolled itself trapping the CPO in the bag corners.

They made it perfectly fine though and were still super active in the bag so I guess you can't really knock it. But for an order that will probably reach $1k I plan to be real specific about the request.

i received just two small single plant clumps when i bought some plants from another boxer. you will be first on the list if i get them going after i get the tank sorted out after the number of mechanical failures that i have had lately. i dont normally use root tabs on vals but i will give some to these guys.

That's my experience with the val. nana, requires rich substrate and co2.

How much of it do you have and do you have some you would like to part with?

i have some of the val nana and it does look cool but it isnt growing very fast, maybe it doesnt establish as quickly as the more common types or maybe it really needs CO2 to thrive. I have not been supplementing that for a few weeks, about the time as I got the val. the jungle / spiral vals have still been going nuts tho so maybe they like different parameters
