      Currently admiring from afar . . . wheels have been set in motion though.

        I'd recommend putting a sponge prefilter on the intake for shimp tanks. I don't practice what I preach, however. Since pure breeding has never been much of a priority for me . . . most of my tanks do not have prefilters. Heck, I even added a small puffer to my cherry shrimp tank for a while to keep the population in check.

        The only tanks of mine that have prefilters are my cardinals and my white orchids.

            I'm currently setting up three 20 longs, Tim, one of which is gonna house cardinals. Would love to put some of these beauties in one of the others. Group buy?

              It's an old Marineland Eclipse. I'm gutting it completely, using LED lights and an external canister filter. It's going in the bedroom, so I'm thinking something a little more feng-shue. Guess I'll take some lessons from Vanson before this happens lol.
