Yeah no doubt that they will go after the others.... not too worried about the helenas since their purpose was to take care of what the botias already done.

The nerites I like but a few here and there won't be missed.

Jesper, I do not plan to remove them all as I know they will come back. Just don't need to have all 7 of them now maybe just 1 or 2, this way I don't have to worry about feeding them or having them go any further and eat my Nerites or Helenas.

Tim, I wouldn't mind and I'm sure they will end up in the market. Actually if I can get some help catching them that's enough payment since I can't get the rocks out by myself.

If you're serious I would be more than happy to help you fish 3 or 4 of them out

You need to start a Botia loaner program. When somone needs to use your loaches, they pay your for them... and then they can sell them to someone else.... and so on and so on...

Ek -- wait a few more weeks, just to make sure -- I would not remove them for another couple of weeks.. you will be amazed on how many new snails will crop up if you remove them to early

The loaches have taken care of the MTS problem, cleaned my Eheims and there was a ton of empty shells in the canister. Now to somehow catch these loaches out...

So... I have seen the Assassins do their thing like 3 times now with 3 empty shells to show for it.

Added 7 Botia lohachata and a million MTS is now like 1!

I don't think the sidthimunkis will fair well with the Trophs.


On a bright side I did find a sole survivor Burmese botia as well as a digested one so I am left with one Botia and no dead Ilangis!

Yeah for some reason I was hoping to have a miracle happen.

I plan on getting a loach/botia to help the assassins for now since I really can't trap anything with all the Ilangi fry in the tank.
