Rummy Noses at night

I have noticed that my rummy noses lose their color at night.  During the day they have nice bright red noses, but once the light goes out they all stay close to the bottom and seem quite "twitchy" and have lost pretty much most of their color.

Any thoughts?

Lots of fish are like this. If you turn on the light in the middle of the night, most fish will be pale and very still. It makes hard to catch fish much easier to catch because they're sleeping.  I had to do this once to a cory that refused to move tanks!

When I had my marine setup, I had a bright Yellow Tang, but at night it would fade to a pale gray.
