Re: Bloodwrms?
Humm, I personally would not try them on my Discus, but on hardier fish I don't think it would be any different than feeding mosquito larvae. Â Having not actually raised them you couldn't be sure of what they had been injesting. Â Most of the commercial brands have multi-vitams added. Â I prefer Hikari Bio-Pure as they say they are also parasite free with no harmful bacteria. I will feed my fish mosquito larvae that I run across, but I always worry about insecticides sprayed by the city that may be in the water.Reasoning with some people is like trying to nail jello to a wall...

Re: Bloodwrms?
That would be better, pretty much same as growing your own micro food from cultures such as micro or walter worms. Â If you do a little more research on them you might come across some better suggestions for raising your own. Â For me personally it seems like too much work with too little reward.
Let us know if you try it and how it works out for you, I'd love to know the results.Reasoning with some people is like trying to nail jello to a wall...

My wife was a science teacher and she was always using daphnia...
for some reason fish were a no/no.'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
