I tried mealworms before. My fish did not like them. I ended up using them to feed the turtles.

how cool.....
do you have to like strip the worms or something....i read somewhere that you have to get all the gunk out of the worm before feeding them to your fish....
how do you keep your worms ?
do you prepare them somehow?

Since we just started with them, I've just been keeping them in the fridge in the bait container they came in, but Nick said putting them in cornmeal cleans them out.  Now that I got all this good info here, I think I'll put the next batch in a container with cornmeal and babyfood mixed up together and see how that goes.  

I'm sure your guys would love them...it's Choppers who is the most animated about getting worms.  He's the Golden/Avocado/Bronze puffer we have.  He literally snatches the worm as soon as it hits the water and wrestles it around the tank until it's gone.  At first I would cut the worms into pieces thinking they were too big, but he's proven that he can handle it so I don't do that anymore.  I think he would eat them until he busts, but I only allow him 1 large worm a day.  I gave him 2 worms once and he was HUGE!

cichlidfan's jardini loved the mealworms i bought for him.....i originally bought them for my sugar glider but she didn't like them   .....go figure.....
so i took them to cichlidfan's jardini..."Jumpin Joey"....and he would almost jump out of the tank to get them......
