Meet the new Fahaka

I got my fahaka yesterday from Fondren fish n pets.  He is only about 4" so i hope that he grows quickly.  His name is Peter Puffer.  8O

Thanks very much.  Fondren fish and pets has alot of nice puffers.  Fugus, mbu, fahakas, and pic noses.

Nice! Is that all your putting in there?

I used to have a Mbu a few years back, got up to 10", but then I got bored with him. Great personalities though.

Well there are some plecos in the tank.  I will just have to see how his personality is.  If he will tolerate other fish than i will add some stuff.

Well, I hope the change from 37+ Ulwiles to a single puffer is what you are looking for..... :)

I just got bored with the ulwiles.  Maybe his personality will keep me entertained.  Ill just have to see.  I really cant wait untill he gets 12"+.  He really loves blood worms.  when he gets bigger ill give him some crab and snails.

Mine is almost 4" and she is eating mussles, clams, crabs and shrimp. I've had her about a month now and she has already grown about an inch. I get all her food from the seafood dept. at HEB. I freeze it, then defrost it before feeding. So far she's a total pig and likes everything I've tried.  :P I wouldn't wait until peter gets larger to start him on other foods.
