I have seen that done before...

When I saw the title I thought you meant giving the fish a pedicure of some sort which I have had to lend a hand in before....trimming tails and gills of Asian arowanas that were not kept in proper conditions.

Yeah, reverse psychology.  Instead of thumping your fish when they are bad, you can reward good behavior with a Pedicure.

Maybe GHAC (or any of the other fine organizations I belong to) should look into fish pedicures for our members.... :P

They still use leeches for medical reasons, but they are destroyed afterwards.

Xtreme tropical fish has these guys as "Doctor Fish" for 5.99. I bought a couple, but I don't think I'll be sticking my feet in their tank!
