I just heard from Philbert and he just got power back on.  He still does not have internet access so I decided to post and tell everyone he is okay.  I'm sure he will post more when he can get online.

Talked to Geoff Tropheus..  he also said if he needs to assist you in getting stuff to your place because you cannot move out of place but roads are open to your place he will take equipment to you and assist you setting it up.
He is traveling right now to Raul (rrocket2002) to check on his house and see if they made it back from the Hotel on the west side in one piece.

South West houston, power out since 1 am sat, still about 18 thousand in 77077 without power, so far so good on the fish count. Only one feeder goldfish died but the Oscars in the other tank looks oxygen deprived.

I have my power back, gratefully.  Only lost a few of them.  Lost my 3 tetras, a guppy, an amano shrimp,and one or more cherry shrimp.  Also one of my full grown florida blue crayfish.  Blessedly the rest of them seem to be ok.  We will see over the next few days.  

I will extend the offer to others that don't have power.  If you want to bring fish over my place to foster them, call me (I don't currently have access at home) 713-382-3432, and I will foster your fish until your power is up.  I have a 30 gallon spare tank, and maybe a 1 gallon I can house fish in, otherwise you would need to bring a tank with you.

What I did to keep mine alive was take a wire whisk and agitate the water real good every couple hours.  It seemed to work well for them.

Tim is ok..no power. He came over to grab some stuff and recharge  his battery charger earlier today.

Hey guys, Kim from CS. I left the Woodlands last night (James stayed) and we lost power Friday night and still have no power. We bought bubblers for the fish so they're alright, James sent his entire stock (10) with me to take back here so they're co-mingling with my aquarium downstairs. (Good thing we upgraded!) The energy company Antergy or something is saying it could be 2 to 4 weeks before they get our power back on. *Shrug*. We lost a lot of tree limbs, thankfully they all fell into the yard and not on the house. We had a tree uproot and lean onto the house but other than that we're ok. We cut that tree down yesterday with James' Kukri Machete. Neighborhood and entire area lost A LOT of trees. Just thankful we're good, the fish are good and college station wasn't affected so my fish are ok too! I did have an escape for the first time last night with Oden though! Woke up and was really surprised. (Australian Lobster)

I have my (6) 12V pumps with (2) fully charged Marine Deep Cycle Batteries that will last atleast over 24 hours running three pumps each.

I also have (2) 150 Watt Power inverters.

One inverter will power 8-10 Aqua Clear 110's.  They are only 14W each.  I have (2) of these I will loan out.

The inverters can also power about 6-10 powerheads head depending on size.

THIS CAN SAVE YOUR FISH BUT YOU GOT TO CALL.

Hi there!  We survived structurally but of course have no power.  They are saying 3 - 4 weeks.  Thankfully we have a generator and I was able to combine 13 tanks into 7 and have them running off of the generator.  So far have only lost 2.  I would say I am  blessed  because it could have been and could be worse!

Lost power here at 11pm Friday night.  Came back on last Sunday at 7ish here in Cypress.  Two tanks and no losses.  I did do a couple of water changes testing the tap water first and I had the kids stirring up the surface of the tank if they got board.

Just got off the phone with Spot.  She is ok.  Minor stuff and alot of mess to clean up outside.  She has a generator, just keeping up with the gas till electricity comes back up is a problem.  The gas station where she is at has a line and $40 limit.
