    Well the storm has made land fall..  Katy was dry this morning leaving the house (I dont call a sprinkle so light I didnt open an umbrella wet)
    I believe strongly that we will make it though the whole thing without a minute of problems where I live.

    Keep having fun :)

        I just hope I dont have to water the lawn tonight... but with my luck lately... I am going to have to.

          We just got 2'' of rain with that last cell that passed through, and it looks like there is another one on the way.
          Fish are people too, they just have gills.

              I left katy this morning also (he he) around 6:30 and caught rain around 610

                  Btw -- it has started to rain here at 59/beltway 8 on the south side just north of Sugar Land.  
                  Nothing hard, but enough to let you know that its going to be wet outside...
                  I am dead tired... I want to go home and sleep a few more hours

                      Watching the news now they are talking about all the nuisance flooding as if there is any other type.  Just raining here in Humble/Atascosita nothing exotic happening like witches on brooms or flying monkeys.  

                      Kinda bored actually. May just finish the stand for the 120 today.

                        well i have an interesting picture of what i had to do this morning, because with all the prep work we were without an umbrella for me to walk the dog with so i had to go out in this getup.

                            I sure am glad that I boarded up my windows, bought 50 gallons of water, 12 battery powered air pumps, 70 cans of tuna, 200 lbs of ice, 2 generators, a rubber raft & 6 gallons of lamp oil , just so that I could watch it rain!!    Thank you very much to the news!!!!!

                              think of the good thing is drinking water and all the tuna....you will be healthy.  


                              I think after the wonderful planning and decisions that were made during Rita is what has caused all of this.   Probably a good thing  as to have all the ducks lined up and over prepare.    Just funny as hell.
