i would make your tank a discus tank D......
i am going to put up my 90 when i get moved and i'm making one myself....
they are sooooooooooo gorgeous and graceful.....
yeppers i'd toss the mermaid and make it a discus tank.....then you won't have to fool with mother nature.....
