Help! I am worried about putting a pleco in with the puffers. Any experience?

    Thanks

What kind of pleco? Just a "common?" Any idea what kind of algae?

Is it still just the 2 puffers? How are they on aggression?

Aggressive?  That's a good question.  They seem okay with each other, but not sure what they'd do if we introduced another fish.

The one I own, sold to me as a "Neon Puffer" but is the same fish, is fine with the scats, sunfish, hardhead ("Columbian shark") catfish, sunfish, hermit crabs, and orange chromides that share his brackish aquarium. But I heard that they have the POTENTIAL to be aggressive. And I have seen what some will do to each other in dealer's tanks. If you have one in a freshwater setup, start with a larger common pleco, rather than the coveted bn plecos or the more rare/expensive species and proceed with caution. It may turn out ok.

Sounds good.  We have a common pleco that is about 6 inches right now that we can throw in with them...we'll see....
