i will ask her if she minds, since she would be doing all the work. i know 100mL is a standard bag. i will either get 3 or 4 bags out of the 500ml can i bought.

she eyeballs it and dumps the purigen in when the bag has 3 sides done. its fully closed off when done. you cant swap the contents unless you snip the bag open.

for lack of a better phrase...i did a "shake test" once she made the first bag before putting it in the filter and nothing fell out. then ran under water and nothing again

tested it a few weeks and no noticeable drop in quantity. she stitches the perimeter a few times back and forth

we just bought it at hobby lobby. went into the fabrics section and asked for a very fine mesh material and the person showed me something that was white and silvery...i want to say it was called odessa or something

she has this fancy sewing machine at home and just uses a standard HOB filter cartridge as a template

And none of the purigen escape?
