Cayenne pepper is so awesome! It works for ants too (at least for me) since they follow a scent that's been laid out by the scout. Used to keep out lots of pests.Originally posted by ruston123fishing View PostSprinkle cayenne pepper around it(but make sure it doesn't get in the pond). I live right on a snake infested bayou, and I put it around the fence line. All the neighbors get snakes in there yard but I don't
Used to kill snakes with machetes. Saves you money spending on ammunition. Just chop the head off and you're good to go.

Most snakes have territories, so killing it will only open it up as open. Try swatting it with a broom and yell at it. It is non venomous so you'll be fine. It will quickly associate human speech and smell with a broom and fear and will avoid any hint of humansIn the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

most snakes are alergic to lead... it kills them... if using a .22, use the rat shot, it's like a tiny shotgun blast!
