Have you guys ever kept a filter outside?  My cousin just gave me his cause he got a better one.  I have use it before but never left it outside.  The reason I'm asking because this thing is almost 5 feet tall and its to big.  I don't want to leave it in my house but in the back patio.  When I change the water I just hook it up to it.  Will the humidity and high temperature cause algea to grow inside of it?  I just wanted to know because it suppose to be a filter for the fish, but if algea going to grow in it I will just have to leave it inside instead but an eyesore next to my tank.

Hey I try looking for the name cant find it.  It only show serial number and instruction to use it.  Yeah this thing works great imo.  My cousin use it for like 1 1/2 without loosing  a fish.  Hey delock I think they have one that is around 3feet tall or 2feet tall to fit in your stand.
