They're good, I don't think they notice much seeing as though I've been doing 100% water changes, they probably like it better this way. Me on the other hand is tired of doing water changes.

Thanks Quockarooney. I just would hate to lose that geo. How are your fish holdin up?Originally posted by eklikewhoa View Postsigh... I guess that is true.
If it makes you feel better I have been doing 100+% water changes daily to make sure my fish don't die from a bloom/spike. You're not alone!

Thanks Sasha. I was looking at the video of rama's ikola tank and just dying to have a happy healthy tank like that. :(Originally posted by LooksLater View PostOh, no! :( Sorry to hear.
Hang in there, Bee! This too shall pass, and I'm sure you'll actually be enjoying your tank in no time.

I have done the garlic. No go. :( She nibbles only a little on mysis, nothing else. I'm wondering where she gets the energy to swim and to continue defending her territory.Originally posted by Darbex View PostAdd garlic to their food along with selcon. Garlic might help her get her appetite back.

Thanks Brian. Not so discouraged as annoyed that it's not clearing up like it usually does. And also worried I'm gonna lose that geo from the illness and from starvation, since she won't eat more than 1 little mysis a day. Haven't lost a fish to ich in 20 years! I've got the tank covered to keep it dark, got salt in there, got the temps up, and I'm starting to wonder when I might get to enjoy the tank that took half a month's paycheck.Originally posted by Darbex View PostSorry B it gets the best of us even the most experienced get it don't be discouraged. I almost did but came back and glad I didn't get out.
