just some of my thoughts

-no discus will not go well with your oscar/datnoid/arrowana/ (insert stupid aggressive fish here)
-you cannot post anything on here at a reasonable price without the usual suspects lowballing the hell out of
you
-there are no stupid questions (even from the newbies) but there are alot of stupid people
-if its illegal, and its been illegal, chances are you wont find one on here. and if you do have one for gods sake
dont tell everyone you have one
-if you feel you dont know what youre doing, ask.... but if you ask dont ignore everones advice and do
something stupid. if youre going to ignore the advise of seasoned hobbiests, why did you even ask??
-no one cares you bought your tank from aquarium world and paid way too much, ask a reasonable price when
you decide to sell it
-and last but not least... DONT TALK TO NICKINTEX HE SMELLS FUNNY (and thats one of the nicer things i can
say about him)

Ask questions before you buy it. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

Hoard all you can eventually it will come in handy.

Take care of those that the care of you, those relationships will always come in handy.

If you want more money for an aquarium, call it a saltwater aquarium.

Aquariums are living ecosystems. Taking short cuts and trying to hurry things up is detremental to quality. Take your time and let nature take its course to realize the real reward of quality fish keeping.

-if a fish will outgrow your current aquarium dont get it chances are you wont get a bigger tank and there isnt a big market for pacu/ rtc/tsn
-if your gonna sell something ask more than you really want because you will get lowballed
-plecos do not eat fish poop and a common will outgrow your 10 gallon
- water changes need to be done more than every 6 months
-dont put saltwater fish or live rock in a betta tank
-the datnoids arent sick or dying thts just thier personality
- i dont care what petco/smart told you, goldfish arent quality food

-I don't care if you have more expensive fish or equipment than I do. What you have is nice and great, and I appreciate what you have, but I did not join this hobby out of competition.

-When shopping in the sale section Lowball everything, eventually it will sell or they assumed you'd lowball anyways.
-If you keep the fish in a small tank it will indeed outgrow it's surroundings, ask any asian person.
-When someone says you can't just do it twice as much and it'll work.
-Tropheus are the new goldfish
