  • Light make such a difference...PIX

Well I dont spend money on my aquarium besides food and filter media now days so I dont have any new stuff to share......but, about this lighting i was talking about...

Depends on what fish and aquarium set up though, one of my lights went out and i did not have any more spare 30,000K bulbs for my H.I.D set up. So I had to use a temp light (5,000K)to get me by. Now its really bugging me every time i see my tank now, lol. But yea, just sharing some pix so ya can see what a colour temperature can do to your fishbox

Huge difference. Colors don't look the same at all...Seeing them side by side like that would bug me, too! lol Thanks for sharing.

would have to say the 5k does look better than the other one. but I think a 10-14K would really set it off.

I personally like the 30k better on this tank. Maybe not all, but this one yes.

Figured ya would get a kick outa this. The 30k makes the Cichlids colors more vibrant. Yes the 5k is more natural but it's cool when people see the aquarium in real life and think I have a saltwater tank... Slight cool feeling..but i did try all temps and the 30k to me came out the best. All personal preference when it comes down to it. Thanx for the comments

+2 for natural but the 30k do look smooth sleek looking with to your black stand and canopy.

                      What about 8k?

I like the way those look on the HID kits, 6k and 8K are my two faves

Take the average of 30k and 5k and you get 17.5k. Try that one. I like 5k better. Wonder how they look when the two lights meet at the middle.
