I currently setup my 90 gallon tank and it has artificial plants. I currently am deciding on what bulbs to use. I have a 48" fixture that holds two bulbs. Which combination of the two bulbs should I use for a clear bright color? Natural looking at best.

What fish do you have? Its pretty common to see an 8000k bulb with a 50/50 bulb combination for many tanks. 8000k is good for malawis as it brings out orange/reds/yellows, 50/50 is good for tangs/fronts as it brings out blues nicely. Play around with bulbs to find what you like. I know the petco by me (sawdust) lets me play around with bulbs and trade in ones I dont like for new ones.

6700K is a little yellow, 8000K more blue. I use them together for a more natural look, IMO.
MarkWhat are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places?
