    pics of my fish.

    Hi guys,

    this are the ones i have i could not get the others to take pics. can you let me know what exact specie are they?

    the whole 10g tank




    Angel (i was told patty angel)


















    Lemon ????






    I will try to get the others they clain to be tiger tetras but im sure they arent. and the othr was claimed to be a tiger cichild but seems more like firemouth or venusus

    so by the looks of it, i think my tank is to dull and real basic fish compare to everyones. but can some one tell me what are they please.

        lol. i know right, they are super cool. my better half picked them. what else can you fit on a 10g offer in petco.

            the substrate is jsut plain grabel from petco. all the plants are fake. nothing interesting about them, but great hidding spots and 1 fish unkown race is loving them.

              I'm on my phone so the gravel looked to be some sort of red/brown substrate.

                no, its more of a light brown rock. i want to have sand but i dont know where to find it.

                  Most LFS carry sand or you can go to the pool supply store and get pool filter sand which is a tan light brown color.

                          i was going to buy black sand and i was told that sand would make my filter to stop working as sand would get on the propeller.

                            Just make sure your filter intake isn't too close to the sand. And if you're moving sand around, be careful that your filter is either off or that you don't swirl the sand around the intake. I've had sand in all my tanks and never had a problem with it jamming up the impeller, because I was careful about placing the intake higher up.

                            Keep in mind that those angels will soon need a bigger tank.
                            All bleeding stops eventually...

                              I don't think so; I think it looks pretty cool. I'm not very good at aquascaping, yours looks pretty nice.
                              DOWNSTAIRS display tanks:
                              20g - 1 yellow Glowfish, 1 long-fin Danio and 3 Cherry Barbs
                              37g - 3 Zebra Danios, 5 Red Serpae Tetras, Dwarf Flame Gourami and Red Tail Shark
                              10g - single male Betta (daughters responsibility)
                              UPSTAIRS research/quarantine tanks:
                              10g - mosquitofish tank awaiting rebuild
                              20g - heavily fake planted housing 8 Dwarf Gourami RIP Blue, Flame and unnamed
                              20g - empty tank with beautiful black Tahitian moon sand
                              10g - hospital sterilized and dry :-)
                              5.5g - fry tank with mosquitofish born 1 Mar 2012
