ADA - Mini L 50 glofish, recently did 100% wc and replaced glofish with about 50 boraras/~20tylo snails/17 crs shrimp/7cpo crays

30g long - 26 tropheus m'toto mostly adults/3 petro trew juvis/ 20 ocats/ 7 cory cats/ 8 mollies/ handful of assasin snails/ handful of nerite snails/ 1 petro macroganthus juvi. Tank is doing great and got two clutches of fry which have not been added to the count.

The 30g I would say the avg size is about 2-4"

I want to ask another question about the quarantine tank. Does it have to be cycled? You said you store yours in between uses. If it has to be cycled, wouldn't it need to be kept up and running at all times?

What you can do is keep the filter you plan to use running on an existing tank and just swap it over to the new tank after you have filled it with de-chlorinated water. You could also get away with keeping a spare filter along with the spare tank and just swapping the established filter when you need to set up a qt and that would pretty much kill two birds with one stone.

Is it possible to fill a new tank with water from a healthy running tank ,{that the fish is going in anyway} and use as a quarantine tank ? Keeping the quarantine tank at proper heat .

Water holds little to no value when it comes to beneficial bacteria. It will be somewhat stable and similar parameters though but other than that its just dirty water
