Is Black Eggcrate Available in the Local Area?

Is black eggcrate available in the local area? I'm aware you can paint the white stuff with Krylon Fusion--but if I can find the black variety in the Houston area I'd prefer that.

I haven't seen any, only two colors I've seen it in is white and silver. It's not to say that it's not made black, but it's a lighting diffuser an I can say I've ever seen it in black.

It is made in black. Here is proof... http://www.eplastics.com/Plastic/Lig.../B-EGG-375X2X4 I just don't know if any where in Houston stocks it.

I'm thinking of going out of town for a few days, and want to be able to just drive over and get it before I leave.

Awesome, didn't know it was made in black. Your best bet to find it local, would probably be to find a lighting only store and see if they have it. I know home depot has the white. Good luck in your search. If you do find it please share the info on price an where you got.

they do make it in black. I have used it in the airslots in acoustical ceiling. You can get it from Acoustical supply but not sure how much comes in a box and you would have to buy the box.
