I would like to share an awesome story about the company Marineland. I bought a 135 gallon tank used a few months ago and it came with two Magnum 350 filters. When I got the tank home and set it up the impellers and the magnets were jammed in the bottom of the canisters. I yanked the impellers out and the magnets just crumbled. I was so ticked off I threw the magnets and impellers away. I thought I would try to see what the company would do for me. I sent the two busted canisters and a letter to Marineland. They replaced the canisters, magnets, and impellers for free. Just a note saying “hope this helps get your tank up and running”. How awesome is that?? It is customer service like this that will make me try to use their products for my aquarium needs. I had already put an XP4 and XP3 on the 135, but still use the Magnums on other tanks. All in all I am pretty happy with the filters. So often we write to criticize, just thought I would share some praise.

I agree we all criticize about any little thing. But we hardly praise for the good things.

Re: Marineland - customer service
Once again.....someone jerked Raul's chain and he thinks that he needs to give us his two pennies worth. I know why my impeller shafts got warped....I got the bright idea to change my substrate to a really fine grain sand. I should go to my LFS and make them replace all of my impellers....LOL.
