anyone every raise those little small shrimps you seee in the aquariums sometimes?  if so do yall let ur african cichlids eat them???

Theres lots of small shrimps. I think most people breed the ghost shrimp for food.

Some plecos will eat shrimp and ghost shrimp need brackish or high salinty water for the eggs to hatch I believe.

If it is small enuff to fit into the Cichlid's mouth, there's a good chance that they will be eaten, i'm sure they will at least try to peck it at.

I think with cichlids if the shirmp is within 5x their mouth it will be eaten....of course there are a select few that won't but it's slim.
