Its kinda cool. I have a colony of Tropheus Livua(Blood Chest), 25 of them! Well, I had some mature females and I guess I now have at least one maturing male because I have fry! I stripped the mother Saturday evening because I didn't want her to spit the fry in the tank and risk them getting eaten. I have 14 fry, but they are like 1/4" long.
I recently added more holey rock I got from when I went on the Holey Safari with Geoff and the colony loves it. I have the fry in a plastic container with drilled holes on the side inside the tank with the colony. I was in a hurry to sell my Chimba Reds in anticipation of the new fry's arrival, but not anymore since I have them in the "plastic fry basket".
I plan to take pics Monday and post. In the meantime, here a couple pics of some of my Livua colony.
