cherry Oceanic 135 sitting in the living room for the past 5 months or more.....here's what it looks like now....

    Fronts and Friends....

Contents Include: Fronts' Clowns' Petricolas' Green Phantom, Demonsi, Sunny the Moshi. and many more......I know....time to thin out the herd pretty soon.....

Filtration: FX5 x 2 and sponge filter (for now)

    Suggestions/Comments....Feel Free......?

Thanks for looking. Pictures of the new chimba home soon....I'm letting them settle first...

Take some pics of the fish close up!

I'm not into the castle/face rocks so much, but the tank looks nice overall. The only suggestion is to add a background. I think it would make the fish show up even more!

As requested, here are some close ups.....

I know as an adult, the castles and hokey heads look pretty lame, but the kid in me really digs the castle....and more importantly, the fish love the head and castle due to the good hiding holes they provide, I doubt if you can see it, but a small female buffalo cichlid has taken up residence in the old orange pick up truck on the right, even after being moved from one tank to another, she went right back to her truck....she lives in the cab or front seat area...

Beautiful! Thank you for posting that. Your fish are so pretty!

That's why I said I wasn't into castles, meaning it's not my style, but I respect that you enjoy it. And your enjoyment is what counts (as long as it's safe for the fish which it is). So I can't comment much on what to change, if anything, decor-wise. I'd just put a background on the tank. I think the Frontosas would really stand out.

Thanks everyone.....I am kind of liking the "see thru" look of the open tank, I may just leave it like this for a while. Let's see how long it takes befor the algae to start showing up on the glass.....

Yeah, the tanks looks really nice and clean....I filled it two weeks ago with seeded water from my 110 that I had those cyps in that I sold.....the fx5's came right off the chimba tank this morning with just a partial clean out.....

so the FB colony should be alive and well, and hopefully, I can keep the tank looking like this from now on.....(crosses fingers) I am really sorry I can't keep all the fish in there, but as they grow, some will have to go....
