      Ask away bro!

Honestly, we are all "noobs" in keeping these fishes. The collection of experiences from everyone is what makes the group and expert!

Well after a 600 mile round trip, Eddie and I made it back with our new Tropheus Kasangas. We ended up with 27 Adults and 22 large fry/juvies. Everyone made the trip with no problems.

The one thing I think is appreciated by the tropheus is consistancy, doing the same thing at regular intervals seemed to create a happy colonly for me. When i had my first Red Chimba colony at the warehouse, they really seemed to have benefited from the consistant feeding and water change schedule I had them on. I fed them twice a day at 8am and again at 4pm......they had lights on from 8 am till 4:45, and a 25% water change every wednesday......within a few weeks, I spotted my first batch of fry.....Oh....I kept the water temp around 80...

              Good Luck Mike...

Good pick up! They are even going to look better in the coming weeks.

You can tell they still need to settle down more.

They still have that look (and color) of "where the hell am I?!"
