No, never kept the flag cichlid, but I've always wanted to! They were one of my favorites when I worked at the LFS in Florida!

Fish Ranch has some checkerboard cichlids along with a lot of different apistos and such.

I got two rams, two checkerboard cichlids, and two kribs today.  They are in my QT and are doing great.  Their colors are very vibrant now that they are all settled in.  I'll take some pictures later and post them.

oh the petsmart on shepard had curviceps just the other day. i bet they are still there because no one there new what they were. i almost got them but didnt have any tanks ready, which didnt stop me today from buying a bunch of stuff.
