Favorite fish is a personal preference for any number of reasons. I prefer discus because they are, IMO, a better looking, more mellow and serene fish than the petros and trophs I've seen. It's like the difference between watching ballroom dancing and a mosh pit.

I have to say that I wish it was just tropheus vs. discus, and not petros grouped in with tropheus. I am not a fan of petros. (GASP!)

I also like the idea that pictures should count only if they are pictures of the poster's fish. :)

Okay, now stop talking about it and just post pictures! Geez!

There isnt as many Discus keepers in Houston as Trophs. Trophs are going to win the skirmish in Houston but we will win the war for world domination.

MJ the pic from my tank is of Red Spotted Greens. I will have to take another pic of my new tank with my RSG & TG (Tefe Green) group. There is a reason Discus are more expensive then Trophs. They are the most sought after fish because of their grace and beauty. Also they are harder to get and take care of. The thing is WC discus is better in Discus community than Troph because there are only 3 (maybe 4 depends on who you ask) variants. WC Trophs last time I checked there are more variants then I can count on all my fingers and toes. If you all are putting Trophs and Petros together to prove a point that point has been taken they are blunt faced dee dee dees.

I can safely say that I have tried trophs, but have never tried Discus. My partner wanted to try Discus, But I persuaded him not to, as he is bad about water changes.

You don't understand. You are only perpetuating my preconceived image of troph owners.
