I'm planning to use the mag 18 if I have enough flow.
Now it's going to be a waiting game for the tank so I can do a test run.

18 is perfect. you can always whip out another overflow.

You are not going to believe this but after all my hard work I can't use my new overflows. :(  My tank that I ordered was going to take another 3 weeks to come in so I upgraded to a reef tank. After 5 weeks of looking at a broken tank and then an empty stand I could not wait any longer. My patience has ran out. My new tank will be here on Monday.  Buttttttttt I had to call my lfs this morning because I can't let them deliver the tank until next Thursday. :(  I had a slight disaster with upstairs plumbing and the ceiling crashing on my stand where the new tank will be. Being it's a holiday week I managed to get a plumber but the "huge" hole in my ceiling won't get fixed until monday. They said it will be a 3 day job, to allow for patching, drying & painting. :(  I swear I take one step foward and three back! Anyway the good news is now I have a rr tank and the owner of the lfs will deliver it and set up all the plumbing for me.  Bad news is: I made two overflows and now I have no use for them. :(  Oh well! Maybe one day in the later future I'll have use for them.
