I have a 75 I want to turn into a wet dry. I might borrow some ideas from you.

Go ahead. Starting to think that since the oceanic trim is wood, im just going to sand is down to the width i need it to be, really dont want all the weight of everything sitting on that glass and then sitting on tile.

They can and do however I'm trying to weight the risk of wanting all that weight on glass on tile. Probably would feel better if it was just sanded down.

I've also been thinking about this staggered vertical filtration in mine. They use it in pond filters.

Why can't you fit a 18" tank under a 24" tank & stand? Is it because when you angle it in it just won't sqeeze by the supports?

I would take the trim off and set it on foam board. If this plastic trim is holding these tanks together we are in big trouble...LOL..

                    Good luck

So I'm getting ready to dive off into this, but I'm curious. Does everyone use silicone to attach baffles or is there an aquarium safe contact glue or cement for glass to plastic or plexi glass.

I know you can use silicone. but some are not water safe. I don't mean to hold water but will poison the water.

Yeah. I've got the safe GE stuff at the house, but I'm curious about a glue, like what they use on acrylic tanks.
