It's a pretty badarse power supply.

I guess I could I have like 100s of them sitting around my house.

There's a readout on the side of the box so I figured out the wiring and found a diagram too.

I'm good on the molex, rather have it right on there with no connectors and minimal possible failures since it live wires. I have it mounted in the Stand so it gets adequate air flow and out of the way.

You can run 50watt on the ac/dc and it's fan-less cooling so don't have it in a tight spot. I might be able to get the molex tomorrow if i find it but for now this how I wired it.

Cut the computer end cord and strip.

That might work, for just a few I don't see why not but with a whole reel I didn't want to run a weak power supply which would heat up providing for all the LEDs so I opted to split the load and have enough there for the LEDs to use which also keeps the power supply cool to the touch.

I was talking to one if the worker over at epo an they showed me this laptop looking transmitter. So I'm guessing that's the same thing as what your using?

These LEDs needed quite a bit of watts to run efficiently, the singles I modded into my marineland singlebrights added a bit of wattage use but having 50 on one power supply would fry each and every little dc convertor.

Initially I was going to run all 50 on my Hobbico power supply I use on my tool box for testing components which is 13.8v and 11.5a max and after about 5mins of use the power supply over heated and shut down.

I am now running two of the power supplies linked above that thebaoster is selling, I think I could run a single for all 50 but I have them split into 25 - 25 so I have each side on it's own power supply.

Can't you just hook it up to a ac dc converter? Like a cellphone cord?
