This is the house construction and the location of the tank.


The tank construction at the moment. Concrete columns are already in place and most of the steel bars are already put together.

no progress on the tank yet since the last picture because we're still working mostly on the house construction. but dont worry, this tank WILL happen in time. I'll update y'all with pics as we go.

Fish Gallery just built those indoor cement ponds and the acrylic sheets they used for the front are every bit of 2" thick and its seamed. Can you not order acrylic and have it delivered?

i'm looking forward to watching this progress. i don't know what advice that they would be willing to give you but the store Aquarium World here in Houston has a display tank that rivals what some zoos have. you could try them at sales@aquariumworld.net

I havent really thought of filtration yet, but maybe a huge wet & dry trickle at the bottom since I'm gonna have about 3' clearance underneath the tank and I'm gonna trow a bunch of wave maker in the tank.

as for stocking goes, its definitely tanganyikans. we'll see what I can get, there arent too many choices here.
