it mentions that the energy used is less then 19W.... most normal LEDs put out significantly less then 1W....
these probably wouldnt put out enough light for planted tanks... might be ok for a non planted or very low light plants.Comment

They won't tickle your pollup's or frig your frag but they should light up a freshwater tank just fine.

hmmmmm, it doesn't say anything about lumen output but I would think that a 40W LED would put off some bright light.Comment
