  • Lets talk about co2 diffuser placement ideas...?

    Just wanted to see
what you guys think and do
in order to get the best co2 mix in
your water column. Also what does everyone think
about ceramic vs inline co2 products and what
    has worked best?

Inline probably more effective but ceramic about 2/3 way up under the output.

A good reasoning for my questioning is one of my tanks in a 30-c and the ADA nano diffuser made for it puts the diffuser about halfway from the water line. I've seen peoples tank w/ the diffuser more or less right up to the water line and others almost to the bottom of the tank...?

Honestly you could make them all work but halfway up is good too.

If you are using a canister filter ( EXCEPT A FLUVAL), you can just position the CO2 line so that it sucks the bubble into the filter intake. It'll be chopped up on its way through the filter and dissolve on it's way through it.

U know I've tried that. Really all that ended out of that plan where big bubbles out of my lily pipe and a few coughing and whatnot from my Eheim.
