    Are you sure? I could have sworn he was referring to adding different spectrum bulbs/LEDs to get a full spectrum of colors.

      You are right. Sorry I meant different temps. Like 3000k, 4000k, 5000k, Royal blue, Blue, Cool white, White, etc.

        I don't see how you can get "FULL" spectrum with a single tube.

          go with the ecoxotic par38 bulbs and you will get your full spectrum

            The Par38 Tricolor would be the closest thing to a ready-made/store-bought lamp in terms of full spectrum.

              Actually the cheap/generic aquarium bulbs are sometimes labeled as "full spectrum". This link is pretty helpful too. It may be only a t12/t8 thing. I doubt full spectrum is available in t5

                I suggest that Light intensity also plays a big part in how a fish perceives the color of a lure.and also the ColorMax bulb is creating the best way to reds
