after trying to achieve skimmate with makeshift skimmers, venturi skimmers etc. I think I finally got it.
This is the first chamber of my wet/dry which is where the original Pro-Clear skimmer mounts, took that portion out though and used the whole first chamber to see if it would build up first and will be working the collection portion back in.
This is being powered with my PondMaster AP-40 which is split into 6 and only one in this chamber, ill be adding another once the collection portion goes back in.
Proof in the picture, skimmate/head/protein on the chamber edges.
After reading on several koi/pond forums how they are producing massive amounts of skimmate doing a bit of thinking it does work in an enclosed surrounding.
Right now I am keeping my remaining livestock in trashcan tubs and they feed into the wet/dry in this first chamber so this is what feeds the makeshift skimmer and the massive amounts of air being forced into the chamber with the AP40 is what brings the protein to the surface.
