          Chloramine test kit will get you there. Its either slower flow rate or more media.

              Sometimes you can smell the extra chlorine in the water.

                Yes, you can smell a difference. water should smell like nothing but sometimes you have a hint of chlorine or that old metal sell... I also have a magical filling in my tooth and I can taste the slight hint of metal in anything. If you scrape a fork against a metal pot that served food I can taste it. Odd but it works.

                    Omg I thought I was the only one!! Me too! I hate it usually but it works for water changes.
