Crap man. Save those for me! I regenerate mine and they all work great.

Yes it goes to the same color as before when you bleach it. And as long as you do it right you will have no problems reusing it. I usually follow the directions and treating it to remove the chlorine and then I do it again just to be safe. Never have had a problem and I have been doing it for 2 years now.

I've soaked this for a little over that, it did get a shade or two lighter but nothing like it was new.Originally posted by madehtsobi View PostAren't u suppose to soak for 24hr? Then use a declorinator?

Looks like I will continue to dump these into the bucket until someone comes and gets them.

I had a bag and bleached it, it looked like oatmeal after it spent some time in bleach. I've not put it in my tank because I don't trust the bleach thing either.

Purigen
For those that recharge or renew their Purigen, does it get "like new" white after bleaching?
I usually just throw these away or give them away cause I don't trust the whole bleaching thing but I got a few 100ml bags that I found from my old stash and wanted to try.
when new it looks like a nice bowl of grits, I just bleached one and it looks like a bowl of oatmeal.Tags: None
