Can you take pictures of what you are doing and where its leaking? Like specific pics pointing it out.

it might be a good idea to open up the pic in ms paint and draw an arrow to exactly where it is leaking from. some regulators do have a weep port that will indicate if you have a leak around the diaphragm inside the regulator. i dont see one in this pic thoough, the weep hole is usually small (~1/16") and located in the threaded neck part where the reg. knob is. if you are talking about the leak being around the round brass plug in the center of the pic then that is an easy fix. buy some teflon pipe thread tape at walmart / home depot in the plumbing section. remove the brass plug and then clean the treads out well. a wire brush is good for this. put 2-3 wraps of the tape tightly around the threads of the plug, being careful not to let any overlap over the first thread. if the tape overlaps it will be sheared off into the regulator and may gum something up. the first thread is the one on the back side of the plug and the first to engage the threads into the reg. port. the tape should be wrapped in a clockwise disrection as you are looking at the front of the plug so that it doesnt unwrap when you put it back in. reinstall snuggly and recheck pressure.75G Standard - High Light Planted Community Fish

if you are referring to the little dimple on the lower left side of the high pressure indicator, then that is normal. it is just there to keep the PI casing together. the is no pressure inside the PI case unless something is broken inside. all the pressure should go in through the bottom and then through a curved bourdon tube which then flexes in a manner proportionally to the pressure and then moves the needle accordingly.Originally posted by eklikewhoa View PostAt the round spot?
If so it looks like you just ruined the gauge.75G Standard - High Light Planted Community Fish

thats a wierd shaped plug now that i see it better, industrial regulaltors dont have blow out discs set up like that but this isnt industrial so it may be just as EK originally commented on. it looks like you may be able to remove it with a flat head screwdriver. you COULD just buy a plug and plug it but then you wouldnt be safe. you may want to contact the regulator mfg for a replacement rupture disc. its possible a hardware or welding supply store might have one if you can find out from the mfg what the pressure rating should be.75G Standard - High Light Planted Community Fish
