i have the Sun Sun HW-303 b

i have to say its the best filter
beyond what any one says its quiet
and at 1400lph you cant go wrong

having this filter is like having an Ehiem same thing
just cheaper

if i had the chance i would upgrade to the 404 b cause it has another stage of filtration
and does more filtration then the 303b

Sorry but the But the only thing like a Eheim is having a Eheim. Those filters are nothing like a eheim like a past poster said they are built cheaply and are flimsyThere is no filter on the market that can come close to matching the reliability and perfotmane of a Eheim that isthe only line of filters I own now and the only line I WILL EVER OWN

So, the Battle continues. I Do Not claim to be a profesional at anything. Certainly not when it comes to Aquatics. Therefore, I lean on you guy's for info. I do understand that most opinion's are based on past experience. Eheim has been around forever. Quality speaks for itself in that aspect.

However, there are many other makers in the game. All have sold to people like us. Some of us are on a Budget, " Me", other's not so much.

I'm collecting info. on the "What Work's" and the "What Does Not Work". Jhenry said the only thing like an Eheim was owning a Eheim. You Cannot argue that point.
I'm still using an old clunker 2213 i've had for several years now, busted latch and broken impellar shaft. Still work's as good as the day I bought it.

So, let's play nice, keep the thread going. Let's hear what you use. What has and has not worked for you. There's no Basher's on this Forum.

There is no battle to be had the Eheim is the winner hands down. And your tank is bottom drilled. Therefore the only choice for you is a large Eheim (2250-2260/2262) enough said. End of discussion
