I am thinking of getting 2 of these for my 110 gal long to replace 2 t8 single bulbs that are having ballast issues. Are these ok? they seem a lot less than others. Also has anyone bought from this site, or know a local dealer who would match price?

No one has any opinion? let me ask another question. This is a saltwater light, but I want to use it on freshwater, because I think the actinic light would bring out the colors in the African cichlids better. is this a wrong train of thought?Fishtafarian- Fish are more than just a hobby, they are an obsession.

The Coralife T5s are probably cheaper because they're most likely not HO bulbs, but just normal output bulbs.
I think, if you're going with a double lamp strip light, the colors of the Africans look really great under the saltwater version, with one 10K and one actinic. So, IMO, very good choice!
