Hagen Glo T-5 fixtures

Got one of the the other day and its pretty sweet. Came with its own tank mounting brackets and hanging hardware. which was cool because i wanted to hang it above my fry tank and it saved me a trip to home depot. I got the 24" single bulb and this thing is way brighter than my old T-8 36" fixture. This is my first T-5 fixture and im really impressed with the light output. It is also equipped with waterproof end caps, a big plus in my book, as that's how most of my fixtures have broken in the past including the last on i had on this tank. Only downside I noticed is it doesn't have an 'on/off' switch so a timer is pretty much necessary unless you wanna be plugging/unplugging it all the time.
Anyone else have any experiences with the Hagen Glo fixtures?

i know right, i thought it was really weird too. i kept looking for it and couldn't find one, i was like " :furious:where is it!!!". so i just plugged it in and it came on. i like to use timers on my lights anyways so i had one lying around to use.
