I currently have a eheim 2026+ a Hob on my 55g. was wondering if i took off the hob would the eheim provide enough aeration for the fish? or should i just leave it as is? because i want to use the hob on my 46g. thx

If you use a horizontal discharge just above the water level that should be enough, as long it disrupts the water tension you'll get aeration.I dream of a Flagtail prochilodus!

Eheim 2026 flowrate is 250gph. That makes 4.5 to 1 turnover.
Turnover that low is ok with smaller fish.

the HOB with the 2026 right now is a penguin 330. the 46 bowfront had a aquaclear 110 on it but it broke and im gonna restock the 46 with the fish from my 55g that cracked which is a group of 20 1-1.5 in cyp kerenge and maybe more tang juvies.Comment
