  • External Pump Service

My Little Giant External pump went out and I was wondering if anyone knew a local place that would be able to service it. If you know a place, let me know.

    Is it even worth servicing?

Here is a link to Little Giant Pump Company. I have already selected Houston area to find a repair center.

For 80 years, Little Giant HVAC and Wastewater products have stood the test of time, pumping a steady flow of proven reliability and superior technical know-how.

In the size you are having in Aquaria, I would probably call the swimming pool rep or comerical plumbing.

To find out if it is worth serviceing, I would post the model number and then search Dr.Foster and Smith, or Big Al'ss for a new model.

Most of these places will probably charge you 75% of a new one to rebuild it.

What is the problem with the pump?

Pressing on new seals or bearings is not too difficult. If it is a burned winding you are done.
