You can try to use scilicone to repair it.

If the tank is used and you dont want to spend a ton of money to fix it then I suggest one of two things. Either silicone the area above and below, but since this is right in the bulk head area I would be leary about this method.

Second and this is the way I would go about it.
Goto a glass repair store etc... get a piece of 1/2" thick glass that will cover the one bulkhead and the crack plus a little on the sides from that, get them to drill a hole in this piece of glass and then mount it perfectly aligning it with the existing hole and silicone it into place. This will look uglier, but since you will be putting strain on the bulkhead you are not going to be looking at making the crack any bigger..

Third more expensive.. replace the whole bottom glass piece.

          I second zulaab's second suggestion.

But if it's inside the overflow then there is not much water there to worry about but there is the possibility of it "walking" and you will 240g worth of water on the floor.

I would personally replace the entire panel, but i don't see why zulaab's option 2 wouldn't work.

fill it with water and let it sit overnight...since this is the overflow i would not be to concern

I would do option 2. Silicone a piece of glass and don't be tight on silicone. Let it set and fill with water. Once you are sure there are no leaks, then set the tank up

Which pane is it on? It looks to be a side not the bottom, could you post some other pics?

how much did you pay for the tank?

                      I paid $350.

OK. To do option 2. (glass that will cover the one bulkhead and the crack plus a little on the sides from that,)

In side the overflow box is 5.5 inches, i need to drill a 2.5 inch hole that leaves 1.5 inch off glass to cover the crack the crack is about 1-1.3 inch but option say to go pass the crack.
There is a piece of glass already silicone to the bottom glass outside the overflow box.

I will have to take some more photo and post.

                      Thanks for the info.
